From the 1st April 2025 our fees and sessions will be:

2-3 Year Olds £9.75 per hour, payable monthly in advance
Morning or Afternoon session = £29.25             All day session = £58.50
3-4 Year Olds £9.35 per hour, payable monthly in advance
Morning or Afternoon session = £28.05             All day session = £56.10
Early Drop Off charged at £5
After school club £10 

The Pre-School will admit children as soon as possible, if sessions are available, after they have turned 2 years old. We also accept children in nappies.  Please see our admission policy or call us  for more details.

 

Childcare Vouchers

Sonning Common Pre-School accepts childcare vouchers towards payment of fees.

 

Voluntary Contributions

In order to ensure that the Pre-School runs smoothly, and to help meet our running costs, we request a voluntary contribution of £25.00 per child per big term (Spring Summer, Autumn)

 

Funding

We accept the following funding:

3 & 4 year old universal entitlement

The term after your child has turned 3, they are entitled to 15 hours universal funding per week payable by Oxfordshire County Council (no code or application required).

Funding for working parents

Working parents of 2, 3 & 4 year olds extended early education funding.

Those that meet the eligibility criteria will be entitled to a total of 30 hours per week. At Sonning Common Pre-School we are able to offer 18 hours extended funding for those parents who are eligible. For more information please visit https://www.childcarechoices.gov.uk/

15 hours of early learning for families in England receiving additional forms of support (TYF)

If your child is aged between 2 and 3 yrs, you may be entitled to help with funding if you are in receipt of some additional government support the term after your child turns 2. Please contact your local authority to see if you meet their criteria.

Packed Lunches/School Dinners
Children are able to choose between bringing in a packed lunch or ordering a school dinner.  Cooked school dinners are provided by Kites Kitchen, from Sonning Common Primary School at a additional cost of £2.50.  This term menu can be viewed here.
